Well as usual I have been neglecting my blog. But here are a few photos of Valentine Day creations.
She taught me to live life to the fullest, and to enjoy all the beauty that surrounds us.

I've fallen off the face of the earth!!!!
Well here I am - been a long, long time since I posted on my blog. Oh well ---This is a fabric collage that I created for a swap that I am in. I had such great fun doing this, and I have made a few others to boot. I will post my Valentine collage next week. But I have been creating a lot lately. My muse is in high gear, as it always seems to be in the winter months. But I think that is because I have much more time to create and have fun trying out new techniques and materials.
Hubby and I have been hitting the antique shops lately, but with not much success. Seems that everything is priced way too high. I really think that all the television programs that they have on like American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Cash and Cari etc, etc. have driven the prices us. People think that everything is worth a million dollars. When in actuality not so. Oh well. Off to make dinner. See ya!!!!!

Spring is here!!
Of course it has been a while since my last post, but have been busy as usual. This is a picture of my
one of my last art endeavors. It is a test tube filled with goodies and a frozen charlotte torso. I had a great time creating it. Next week Lou and I will be going to Artiscape and will be meeting up with Dawn. Also some of the Diva's will be there. Looking forward to our adventure, and will post pictures of my new creations. Have a wonderful Spring.

Well it's been quite a while since my last post. Been busy with all the holidays etc., but fortunately I am back to normal. (If there is a true normal for me) Finally have had some free time to create, and I am. I promised myself that I would not get into too many swaps, but I have not kept my promise. I have been making valentine art, and here are a few pictures of some of the items.
Just can't help myself when it comes to swaps, love to do them, but have cut back dramatically on them. I even made a few things for myself. Received the tools that I need to create in PMC for Christmas, all I need to get is the PMC, which I will order this week. I truly enjoy creating jewelry in that medium. It's just amazing how this little lump of gray clay becomes fine silver.
Hope that you all keep warm in this cold winter.

Wow - been a while since my last post. Been awful busy with family visiting, and work in the gardens. But all in all it has been a wonderful summer. Not enough time to create, but have been trying to do that catch-up thing, and succeeding quite nicely.
I have just returned from our vacation to DisneyWorld, and was it HOT!!!!! in the 90's with high humidity, which made it feel like 115 degrees. Yikes!! But I did manage to survive, and had a truly great time. Our really good friend Jack went with us, and I was so glad to have the time with him, as we don't see enough of him. My hubby was glad also, Jack is his best friend, and has been since college.
I have put pictures of a few ATC's I made for a swap, hope that you like them.

Hi - been a long time since I have updated my blog, but have been very busy. My garden had required lots and lots of time, as well as redecorating my dining room.
I have taken the wallpaper down, which took me over 15 hours of time, taped off the wainscoting, and re-painted it. My wonderful hubby painted the top of the walls for me.
I made a new valance, and covered 11 lamp shades in material to match the room.
We purchased a cheap round ottoman, which I have recovered also. If I must say so myself that ottoman turned out wonderful.
Tom and our friend Jack have added crown molding to the kitchen cabinets, and I now consider the kitchen finished.
My friend Betsy and I went on the tour of gardens for Summit County, and we saw Dawn there with one of her friends. I'll tell you something, there is a commitment to gardening that these garden owners have, which I seem to be lacking. I keep mine weed free etc., but still somehow they lack the beauty of these people. But I love my garden non the less.
I have put a new pic on the blog of a banner that I made for one of my swap groups. I think that it turned out well.
Until another time - Darlene

Well it's been a while since my last update. I have been very busy, on vacation to North Carolina, did some flea marketing, and antiquing. Got quite a good bunch of buys. Glad to be back home.
After we were home for a few days, our oldest cat June (19 years old), has decided that she didn't want to eat very much, if at all. I remembered that the vet for our neighbor had her give a puppy with a bad stomach, a small amount of a pepcid. Well, I looked it up on the internet, and it said I could for a cat, and it is working a little bit. She's able to keep down what little she is eating now, which is good, and she is acting much better. I'm glad, I know she is old, but just not quite ready for her to leave me yet.
You will see that I have added a new project to my blog. I made this just before vacation, and unfortunately you cannot see the title of it, it is just BLISS. I made this in one day, and I think that it came out just fine. Hope that you all like it as much as I do.
Bye for now!!
